Ube is a type of yam that is a very common and familiar dessert staple in the Philippines. The yam usually presents itself in a vivid violet-purple to bright lavender colour with a flavour profile that can be described as mildly sweet, earthy, and nutty – reminiscent of New Zealand's purple kumara.
This is a premium ice cream product, which means we use a cream to milk ratio that results in a milk fat content of 12-14%. This gives our premium ice cream products a creamy, luxurious texture and a rich flavor profile.
