Halo-halo Recipe

Halo-halo, meaning "mix-mix", is a classic Filipino dessert that started post World War 2 when sweetened beans became available after being introduced by the Japanese and ice became a regular commodity. It started out as a humble serving of shaved ice, milk, and sweetened mung beans but through the years it has evolved into the iconic dessert that we now know today.
This dessert is not only very customizable, it is also quick to make. It only takes five minutes!
